MARCH 3rd & 4th,2018 British Wheels at the Highland Games at Steele Indian School Park

Entry forms attached which need to be sent in by February23rd.   2018 HG saturday form.pdf   2018 HG sunday form.pdf

Saturday is just display day while Sunday is the show that was intended to replace the Wheels of Britain which used to be at Heritage Sq. only about 5 miles away.   The classes for the show are dependent on how many entries are received. It only takes 2 of a kind to make a class so talk someone with the same marque to join you.
Sunday's entry fee includes admission to all the other activities of the day and there will be food vendors and merchandise sellers as well.

One very different point from other shows which we need to consider is that the visiting public is paying for admission to the Games and therefore deserve to be able to see everything. We all appreciate that most of the visitors come to see the Scottish athletes and dancers rather than the British cars but many enjoy our LBCs and return every year. This is one reason why we are asked to stay on the field till closing time. The City of Phoenix have rules concerning the movement of vehicles while the pubic is present but there are negotiations ongoing to enable early release for our cars and I will pass the outcome along ASAP.
Note:  There will be NO day of show registrations

June 9-10, 2018:   International Jaguar XK Club - Celebrating the XK70 Festival
2018 year marks the 70th anniversary of the Jaguar XK120. And why is this so special? Not only were the XK120s, 140s and 150s the finest sports cars of the Fifties, but the 120 launched the XK engine which powered five Le Mans winners and almost every Jaguar for the next 40 years, including the iconic E-type.   Based at the lovely old historic Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb, this promises to be one of the most spectacular Jaguar celebrations ever staged in the motoring world.  For more info link to www.xk70.co.uk
